Don't Call it a Comeback, Ferguson, MO has been Here for Years!

Incorporated as a fourth class city back in 1894. Named after William B. Ferguson, who actually deeded a strip of land from his farm in 1850 to Northern Missouri Railroad, later known has Wabash Railroad. That strip of  land became known has the Ferguson Station. The city started booming post World War II and became a charter city in 1954 for adopting a council-manager type of government.
